I adore her Airborne series and having two amazing books to re-read, I think can tide me over till the next of the series!
Back when Windswept came out, I wrote a post regarding the things that would follow. Aitborne 16, Joshua Weston rated it it was amazing. Windswept will also be getting a new cover eventually.
Book Review – Airborne (Airborne Saga #1) by Constance Sharper
Where the shell touched her hand a dark bruise takes its place and starts to spread. May airbrne, Courtney Wyant rated it it was amazing Shelves: Not So Fab Highly original and well written, I actually really enjoyed most of this story. While this will not solve all of constsnce errors, it will catch her extra word usage and a great deal of her spelling errors. Refresh and try again. Avery and Mason are great characters. Storyline Avery is on summer break visiting her brother in California when she discovers a mysterious shell on the beach.
Other books in the series.
Grounded (The Airborne Saga, #2) by Constance Sharper
Mason and Avery’s relationship isn’t clean cut or even love at first sight as Mason is already in love with another harpy and really underlines crazy girlfriend Now I hate, HATE love triangles, but CS does a great job of showing the pull between both worlds and both girls and the lengths both would go to do what is or what they think is morally right.
Other than that, I pretty much liked the main character. I hate the font of the front and back cover, a lot. Every time I do, I hate it.
I can’t wait for more, all my YA book lover friends should read this series. Yeah, there are humans in the Harpies world, but they are slaves. And Nate as “the boy”? Sharper took an unusual topic and made it great. If you enjoyed Airborne, you’ll love Grounded! I can’t believe I waited so long to read this. First impression when I got the book: This book was about airborns, I mean how often do you get to read about harpies?
Goodreads helps you keep track of books you want to read. I believe actions speak louder than words in this case. Characters Conxtance didn’t like became likable, but then who were the real enemies?
It is a coming of age story that does not rush the romance aspect faster than believable as so many YA novels do. Goodreads helps you keep track of books you want to read.
Windswept (The Airborne Saga, #3) by Constance Sharper
And Grounded did not disappoint! I think if the author made a better excuse to this, this could actually work. She took the mythology and made it a modern paranormal classic.
There were many typos, grammatical errors and obvious spell check errors.
Avery is back and school and Mason is hiding out in cpnstance forests once again trying to keep an eye out for the harpies that want her dead.
