Aofred, as expected, it’s not quite up to the level of the Monstrumologist. The stakes seem bigger in this book as the enemy is one of literal biblical proportions fallen angels imprisoned for thousands of years by the Seal of Solomon and Alfred has to endure Reality is setting in for Alfred Kropp after his life returns to normal after the adventures of the first book, when Alfred’s life is again thrust into a world saving adventure.

Alfred must find a way to right his wrong and save the world from imminent destruction. Again, this sael amazing literature, but it’s loads of fun and Alfred Kropp is a really likable character. And then he gets kidnapped, and kidnapped from the kidnapper Alfred Kropp wasn’t expecting life to go back to normal after he managed to nearly destroy the world and then save it.
The book has a great plot or idea and then creates a kind of predictable situation after Alfred figures what side he actually is on.
This was a non-stop read. Mar 28, Wendy rated it it was amazing Alfrdd They have gazed upon the very face of God, the face they will see no more for all eternity-and so I pity them. However, this book only uses elements of that, and focuses on Alfred and company fighting demons who get released into the world I won’t say why because of spoilers.
