Being originally written init’s no surprise that the knowledge becomes outdated after 40 years and that more well researched resources and methodology come out to replace it. The course teaches the student to utilize all the constituent parts of a kanji’s written form—termed “primitives”, combined with a mnemonic device that Heisig refers to as “imaginative memory”.
For each Chinese reading of a kanji, an example compound word is given. So you will keep coming back for more japanese, and that will equal a never ending cycle well at remembeging until you get to you’re goal. Use furigana if you think they won’t understand your kanji usage.

Individual frames cross-reference the kanji to alternate readings and to the frame in volume 1 in which the meaning and writing of the kanji was first introduced.

I looked at the beginning of Sanshiro using this kanji list as a base — with the Aozora Bunko text, you can read the first 17 pages before coming to a kanji with no furigana that you wouldn’t know if you knew those and nothing else.

What most people here do is move onto to materials like smart FM or KO which are a collection of sentences with audio that they ths in conjunction with Anki in thhe to learn to read whole sentences.

I have to kanni all the kanji that i find in the 2nd and in the 3rd volume?? A heissig system of pronouncing the kanji, their “Japanese readings,” uses native Japanese words assigned to particular Chinese characters.
This volume was co-authored by Tanya Sienko. Using this approach you learn vocab and in doing so learn to read the kanji at the same time. So don’t go for volume 3, only if you want to.
